With a diverse background spanning marketing, strategy, and communication, Stéphane Wargnier has made a significant impact on several prominent fashion and luxury brands. With degrees in management and linguistics, he served as the director of the marketing and management department at the Institut Français de la Mode from 1986 to 1997, and later went on to join Hermès where he was responsible for the group’s communication strategy. This eight-year tenure cemented his status in the industry, allowing him to take on several consulting and editorial roles, including editor-in-chief of the Hermès magazine Le Monde d’Hermès until 2014. He was appointed Executive President of the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode, later succeeded by Pascal Morand. Currently the Head of Image Major Master of Arts in Fashion Design at the French Fashion Institute, Wargnier has leveraged his expertise in communication and strategy to elevate the profiles of some of the country’s most iconic brands. His role as an administrator for the Villa Noailles in Hyères further demonstrates his commitment to supporting the creative arts.
