Fan Bingbing is a renowned Chinese actress and singer, born in 1981, in Yantai, Shandong. She rose to fame in the late 1990s, starring in the Taiwanese period drama My Fair Princess (1998-1999) and its sequel, but her breakthrough came with her role in Feng Xiaogang’s Cell Phone (2003), China’s highest-grossing film of the year, which earned her the Hundred Flowers Award for Best Actress. In 2007, she opened her own production company, Fan Bingbing Studio, and has since produced several successful dramas and TV shows. One of the most recognizable faces in Chinese cinema, Bingbing has built an acting career that spans over two decades, delivering numerous acclaimed performances in both television and film. Her talents have earned her accolades, including a Golden Horse Film Festival Award, and a Coquille d’Argent at the San Sebastián International Film Festival.
