Alioune Badara Fall

# #

Born into a fashion-enthusiast family, Alioune Badara Fall has built a remarkable career by strategically leveraging his cultural roots to develop a distinctive aesthetic across various industries. After a time in New York, Alioune Fall ventured into fashion when he went back to Dakar, Senegal, and never looked back. Along with his striking presence, working with designers such as Juun. J and Kiko Kostadinov quickly catapulted him to the forefront of the world modelling scene, and he was featured in prominent publications such as WWD, American Vogue, GQ, and Dior Magazine. His experience as a model allowed him to develop an artistic vision that later led to the creation of his own brand, ABF, worn by numerous celebrities such as Colombian singer Maluma. But while the creator has a deep appreciation for the fashion industry, his talents extend beyond the sartorial realm. Fall puts great emphasis on diversity, inclusion but also the challenges that models face within the industry, including mental health. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he initiated a live conversation series called SEETU (which means “mirror” in Wolof), where he interviewed over 30 models, bringing diverse narratives to light. By using his platform to tackle important conversations that are often avoided in the industry, Fall has positioned himself as a trailblazer, pushing the envelope as an African in the elite world of fashion.
